Web wallets

Web wallets provide an account interface through a website. The place where keys are held and the method used to authorize transactions vary between products. Verify whether a service is custodial, uses another wallet for signing or creates an account with a different recovery mechanism.

Bookmark the verified official domain and inspect it before connecting or signing. Review authentication, recovery, export options and third-party dependencies. An HTTPS connection encrypts transport but does not establish a service’s trustworthiness. Test the complete workflow and withdrawal process before committing significant funds.
